Full Name & Product Positioning

Full Name: PANGAO MLC-14-62 Binary Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer Resin

Binary VC-VAc copolymer industrial resin, approximately 86% vinyl chloride and 14% vinyl acetate. Compared to MLC-14-55, molecular weight is increased to ~35,000, resulting in higher system viscosity. The film shows improved hardness and chemical resistance characteristics. Suitable for abrasion-resistant topcoats, metal inks, and related formulations.

Core Technical Parameters

 Appearance: White free-flowing powder

 Vinyl Chloride Content: 86 wt%

 Vinyl Acetate Content: 14 wt%

 K-Value: 49-51

 Viscosity Number: 60-64

 Average Molecular Weight: ~35,000

 Solid Content: 100 wt%

 Volatile Matter: ≤0.5%

Standard Packaging: 25kg paper-plastic composite bag, 1kg sample pack available

 Reference Equivalent: Hanwha CP-450

Core Advantages

1. Relatively higher molecular weight results in higher solution viscosity at equivalent solids, with potential for improved film hardness.

2. Shows solubility in ethyl acetate and ketones, with moderate solubility in aromatic solvents.

3. Film exhibits corresponding chemical resistance characteristics, suitable for coatings with certain abrasion requirements.

4. Provides adhesion improvement for metal substrates, suitable for metal inks and metal topcoats.

5. Can be blended with other resins for modification. Stable batch physical/chemical indicators.

Main Application Areas

Core Applications: Abrasion-resistant topcoats, metal inks, metal substrate coatings

Suitable Areas: Hard plastic coatings, appliance shell paints, lamination inks, anti-corrosion primers

Not Recommended: Pure water-based systems, food contact products, low-viscosity high-solids fast-drying formulations, ultra-flexible elastic coatings.
