SOLBIN AL is a hydroxyl-modified high-molecular-weight ternary vinyl chloride copolymer resin. It exhibits excellent compatibility with various film-forming materials, including alkyd resins, polyurethane elastomers, isocyanate resins, epoxy polymers, melamine resins and urea-formaldehyde resins.It is widely blended with other film-forming substances to optimize coating performance and significantly improve adhesion, flexibility, toughness, surface hardness and chemical resistance of finished coatings. Thanks to the active hydroxyl functional groups in its molecular structure, the resin can undergo cross-linking reactions with thermosetting resins, delivering outstanding water resistance and superior chemical resistance for coating systems.Applications
Widely applied in marine anti-corrosion coatings, gravure printing inks, equipment housing coatings, industrial maintenance coatings, can sealing coatings, PU wood coatings, paper coatings, interlayer adhesives, PET inks, carbon ribbons and magnetic tape binders.
