Hydroxyl-Modified Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate-Vinyl Alcohol Terpolymer Resin

2. Properties

SOLBIN A is a high-molecular-weight hydroxyl-modified vinyl chloride‑vinyl acetate‑vinyl alcohol terpolymer resin. It exhibits excellent compatibility with other film-forming materials, such as alkyd resins, polyurethane elastomers, isocyanate resins, epoxy resins and urea-formaldehyde resins.

It is commonly blended with other film-formers to optimize coating performance, improving adhesion, flexibility, toughness, hardness and chemical resistance of finished coatings.

Thanks to hydroxyl functional groups on the molecular chain, it can undergo crosslinking reactions with thermosetting resins to achieve outstanding water resistance and chemical resistance.

3. Solubility

Ketones, esters, and mixed solvents of ketones & aromatics are excellent solvents for SOLBIN A.
