Performance characteristics and applications
Due to its moderate molecular weight, this resin can provide high gloss, excellent elasticity, and smoothness when used in powder coating formulations in combination with melamine, leveling agents, and other curing conditions at 200 ℃ and above. Compared to low molecular weight epoxides such as 901/902, their higher molecular weight endows the coating with better impact strength and glass transition temperature (Tg).
