Product full name: Wacker VINNOL® H15/50 vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin (VC/VAc resin, binary copolymer)
VINNOL® H15/50 is Wacker's classic vinyl chloride / vinyl acetate binary copolymer resin. It contains approx. 85 wt% vinyl chloride and 15 wt% vinyl acetate with a K value of approx. 50 and medium solution viscosity. As a physically drying thermoplastic binder it forms tough films with low water absorption and low gas permeability, and it adheres well to many substrates. It is widely used in heat-seal coatings, screen / gravure / pad / transfer printing inks and strippable protective coatings.

Core advantages
· Tough and flexible films with low water absorption and low gas permeability, helping to improve the mechanical properties and water resistance of coatings
· Good resistance to oils, greases, dilute acids, dilute alkalis, salt water, aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols, making it suitable as a protective and heat-seal binder
· Good adhesion to metals, PVC, paper, films and other substrates; suitable for heat-seal coatings, screen / gravure inks and transfer hot-stamping
· Good compatibility with other VINNOL® surface coating resins; blending with low-viscosity grades can adjust system viscosity and film properties
· Fine particles (<1.0 mm) and stable bulk density make feeding, metering and solvent dissolution convenient, offering good processing convenience
Main application areas
· Core applications: heat-seal coatings, screen-printing inks, gravure inks, pad-printing inks, transfer inks
· Suitable areas: strippable protective coatings, plastic coatings, industrial wood coatings, paper and film coatings, protective and architectural coatings, leather inks, adhesives
· Not recommended: systems used alone for long-term outdoor exposure without UV / heat stabilizers; direct food contact (FDA compliance is not marked in the TDS); long-term coexistence with zinc, cadmium or iron oxide pigments at high temperature, to reduce the risk of resin decomposition and discoloration; alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons do not dissolve this product
