Product description and parameters

Full Name & Product Positioning Full Product Name : ARAKAWA TAMANOL 803L Terpene‑Phenolic Resin Light‑colored industrial terpene‑phenolic tackifier resin derived from natural rosin. Ring‑and‑ball softening point 145‑160 ℃ with moderate polarity and thermal stability. It shows certain compatibility with neoprene rubber, acrylic elastomers and other polymers. Designed as a tackifying component for solvent‑based neoprene adhesives, shoe‑making adhesives and partial hot‑melt formulations to adjust initial tack, holding power and heat‑resistance performance of end systems. Core Technical Parameters Appearance:  Light‑yellow flake solid Gardner color:  ≤7 Acid value:  45‑60 mgKOH/g Ring‑and‑ball softening point:  145‑160 ℃ Solid content:  100 wt% Volatile matter: ≤0.5 % Standard package:  25 kg kraft paper bag   CAS No.: 68648‑57‑7   Core Advantages 1.  High ring‑and‑ball softening point with improved thermal stability, helps adjust heat‑resistance performance of adhesive systems. 2.  Certain compatibility with neoprene rubber (CR), acrylic elastomers and selected synthetic rubbers, suitable for graft‑modified neoprene adhesive formulations. 3.  Light‑colored resin with limited color interference for light‑toned or transparent adhesive compounds. 4.  Soluble in aromatic, ester and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents to form relatively clear solutions. 5.  Functions as tackifier to modulate initial tack and holding power of adhesive systems; flake material supports smooth feeding operation. Main Application Fields Core Applications : Solvent‑based neoprene (CR) adhesives, shoe‑making adhesives, tackifier for graft‑modified neoprene glue Compatible Applications : Adhesives for PVC artificial leather bonding, partial hot‑melt adhesive systems, spray adhesives, rubber‑based composite adhesives Prohibited Scenarios : Pure water‑borne systems, oral‑ingestion articles, direct‑food‑contact articles, low‑aromatic formulations mainly using ethanol as solvent.
