Product Brief Introduction
Cabot EMPEROR®1800 pigment carbon black is developed for waterborne coating systems with patented oxidized surface modification. It provides favorable blackness and pure blue undertone, and shows stable dispersibility in waterborne formulas. Widely adopted raw material for waterborne automotive black coatings.
Usage Guidelines
- Storage: Keep sealed in cool & dry warehouse; moisture will weaken dispersibility.
- Dispersant: Anionic polymeric dispersants are suggested for waterborne systems.
- Recommended Dosage: 1.2%~3.5% based on coating formula, adjust according to hiding power demand.
- Safety: Operate in accordance with SDS; implement dust removal & anti-static protection.
