This grade is a carboxyl-containing vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate-dicarboxylic acid terpolymer resin produced by Wacker using suspension polymerization, with a K value of 47–49, making it a medium-high molecular weight grade. Its carboxyl content gives excellent adhesion to metal substrates, while the suspension process provides good water resistance and chemical resistance. It is a widely used grade in heat-seal coatings and metal anti-corrosion coatings.

Core advantages
· Suspension process gives good water resistance and chemical resistance; coatings are not easily attacked by water, dilute acids and alkalis or salt water
· Carboxyl functional groups give excellent adhesion to metal substrates; can be used directly in metal primers and heat-seal coatings
· Moderate-to-low viscosity can reduce solvent consumption at the same solids content, helping to lower formulation solvent costs
· Can be crosslinked with isocyanates, polyaziridines or polycarbodiimides, helping improve coating heat resistance and chemical resistance
· Broad suitability for heat-sealing; good sealing performance with polar substrates such as aluminum foil, PVC and PET
