SOLBIN Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer Resin Product Description SOLBIN is a modified resin combining the high toughness and resistance of vinyl chloride with the adhesion and plasticity of vinyl acetate. Polar functional groups are incorporated to provide excellent adhesion and solubility. It is odor-free, boasts outstanding water resistance and low water absorption. It is widely used as binders for magnetic tapes and magnetic cards, coating agents for beverage cans and waterproof adhesive tapes, as well as various coatings, inks and adhesives. SOLBIN is a copolymer resin of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate monomers with the following features: 1.Soluble in organic solvents such as ketones and esters. 2.Odor-free and capable of forming transparent films. 3.Excellent resistance against acids, alkalis and salt water. 4.Films exhibit particularly superior water resistance. 5.The film is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing. 6.The film is thermoplastic with heat-sealing performance. 7.Excellent compatibility with polyurethane resins and melamine resins. 8.Hydrophilic-group-containing grades can effectively disperse inorganic pigments including magnetic powder. 9.Hydroxyl-containing grades react with isocyanate groups to achieve crosslinking.
