产品说明与参数
Full Name & Product Positioning
Full Product Name: Chang Chun Petrochemical (CCP) BP-20H Intermediate Hydrolysis Polyvinyl Alcohol
BP-20H is a polyvinyl alcohol in the Chang Chun BP series with an intermediate degree of hydrolysis (90-93 mol%, between partial and full hydrolysis) and a viscosity of 27-33 mPa·s. Its higher hydrolysis degree provides film water resistance and tensile strength superior to standard partially hydrolyzed grades, while retaining some cold-water dispersibility. It is suitable for adhesives, paper coatings, and textile treatment applications requiring a certain level of water resistance.

Key Advantages
(Performance based on measured conditions from original manufacturer TDS. Actual results vary with formulations and do not guarantee end-use performance.)
1. Intermediate hydrolysis degree (90-93 mol%) provides film water resistance superior to 88% partially hydrolyzed grades, while retaining some cold-water dispersibility;
2. Medium-high viscosity grade delivers high aqueous adhesive strength and corresponding film toughness and tensile strength;
3. Suitable for paper coatings, textile sizing, and adhesive applications requiring a certain level of water resistance;
4. When used in combination with crosslinking agents (e.g., urea-formaldehyde resin, melamine resin), coating water resistance can be further enhanced;
5. Uniform granules provide good dissolution processability, and the hot-water-dissolved solution exhibits relatively good clarity.
Main Application Areas
Core Applications: Water-resistant paper coating adhesives, textile sizing agents, water-resistant adhesives
Compatible Applications: Woodworking adhesives, fiberboard binders, construction additives, coating systems requiring moderate water resistance
Not Recommended For: Food or oral-ingestion articles, scenarios requiring rapid complete dissolution in cold water at room temperature
